“At the end of the day it’s not about what you have or even what you’ve accomplished… it’s about who you’ve lifted up, who you’ve made better. It’s about what you’ve given back.” ― Denzel Washington⁣

Giving back is exactly what today’s guest, Nate Evans Jr. is doing! Nate has taken his own struggles in life and used them to help other Black boys and men cope positively through challenges!⁣

Nate Evans Jr. is a millennial leader, change agent, 3x published author and #1 best- selling author of “I LOVE YOU; LETTERS OF LOVE FROM BLACK MEN TO BLACK BOYS”. He's a first-generation high school and college graduate. Nate is also a highly requested inspirational speaker, mental health advocate, youth mentor, consultant, and award-winning personal trainer. He lives by the quote, "CHANGE WHAT WE NORMALIZETM" as he has a passion to eradicate the stigmas around mental health in black & brown communities while normalizing love amongst black men and boys. This passion was inspired by his own battles with mental health issues as a child, teen and young adult. Using this as motivation he has developed workshops for high schools, colleges and corporate businesses based around mental health literacy and resilience. With his charismatic speaking and inspiring testimony he encourages teens and young adults to increase their mental wellness, resilience and self-efficacy. Nate is also a volunteer for the Covenant House in Atlantic City, a distinguished alumnus as well as "Top 4 Under 40" member at Atlantic Cape Community College⁣
